This recipe is a perfect alkaline banana milk drink with a bit of greens to introduce you to smoothies. Sometimes, the thick texture of a smoothie is too much to handle. This recipe is very light and really fun to drink. Drink it for breakfast, snack, or use it as fun green milk for cereal.
Ingredients:
- 1 (48g) Red Swiss Chard Leaf
- 2 cups (377g) Coconut Milk
- 1 (8g) Date, pitted
- 1 (100g) Very Ripe Frozen Banana, chopped
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until creamy and milk-like.
Optional:
To make this more green; add a bit more swiss chard, a few pieces of broccoli, 4 ice cubes, and a couple more dates to balance with sweetness. This gives you a thicker, traditional styled smoothie.
